Sun Solaris Machines
Processor taken off line during boot up 

1. Enter CMOS and enable Processor retest and exit with saving changes

2. If problem reoccurs reseat Processors and perform another retest in the CMOS

3. Processor may be defective if problem persists


The Antares PCI Cool Audio Sound cards, which are in some TAG built Solaris O/S based machines, are not supported in Solaris 9. Due to the Open Windows GUI being discontinued after Solaris 8, the necessary drivers for the audio card will no longer be a part of the Solaris O/S. If you are going to upgrade your O/S to Solaris 9, you will lose the use of the audio card. The manufactures of the card have made no decision to update their drivers, at this time.
